Quick Tips and information

Always use a drip pan when installing a water tank. This will protect the flooring should a tank leak occur.

Never install a tank directly on a cement floor. Cement has a high moisture content even when dry to the touch. The tank will absorb this moisture like a sponge leading to premature tank failure. Lowe’s sells them for $32.00 Well worth the investment.

If you see orange water, corrosion around your electrical connections, its time to replace the tank.

If you flush your tank and a high amount of sediment is emitted as shown in photo #5, the bottom of tank in all probability is rusting since the electrons from the factory anode will not penetrate this debris layer.

Q: When should i replace my water heater and What should I look for?

A:  That depends on the above photos. If you tank shows signs of rust on the outside as shown above in photos 2, 3 or internally in photo 4, it needs replaced. Our product will not be able to supply the needed electrons to stop the corrosion process since the entire tanks interior is blistering with corrosion. If no leaking/visible external rust is seen and no sign of orange water, then our system will work. We recommend you flush your tank first if it is over 2 years old. YouTube has an indispensable amount of information on how to perform this easy task. Calcium build up (photo #5) can shorten your water heaters life dramatically in electric heaters by encompassing the lower heating element thus shorting it out. If you hear your electric tank making a ‘popping sound’ when it is heating up, it time to replace the tank since it has over 12 inches of sediment in the tank which you will never be able to flush out.

Q:  the difference between a $400 or $800 gallon Water water heater.

A: Warranties are based upon the number of Anodes within the tank. 6 & 12 year warranties are the norms in big box stores such as Lowe’s, Menard’s and Home Depot. The warranty does not mean the tank is built better, it only means they have 1 or 2 Anodes. A 6 year tank warranty will have 1 standard Anode Rod. A 12 year warranty will have 2, one standard and one nipple style. In households that use a water softener, the Anode Depletion will be greatly reduced. Water tanks that have less energy costs per year are typically 2 inches taller and wider. This area is filled with foam insulation. The Anode Rod in these types of tanks will be recessed Click here.

* If you have a 12 year water tank warranty and purchase our system, you will have 2 anode rods. We recommend removing the Hot Water Side secondary anode rod which is no longer needed and cutting the anode rod off and re-installing it. Then simply install our system in the Standard Anode Rod Location. Our system will provide the needed electrons to protect the internal corrosion of the tank.

How Water Heater Tanks are made in the factory

  • Watch this video, pay attention to the 2:33 minute count. Anode rods are installed from the factory using Red Loctite 271 permanent epoxy. This is why extracting your anode rod may be difficult. How extended warranty water heaters are made.

Q:  What is your warranty?

A:  Since we engineer, prototype and test our proprietary power supply, we are confident that we can offer a lifetime warranty on our system. Should our potential controller LED flash RED, it is no longer supplying power to the anode. Simply contact us for a free replacement.

Q:  What is the Electrical Cost?

A:  Depending upon your electrical service provider rates, maybe 2 cents per day.

Q:  Can I get shocked if i have a power surge?

A:  Not with our unit, A power surge would blow the internal fuse rendering the unit inoperable. Returns accepted if this ever happens free of charge.

Q:  Power cord length?

A:  8 feet.

Never settle for imitations!
