Retired electronic engineer. I know nothing about the electronics of a powered anode but I do know electronic components. I looked at this product that it shows and compared other brands to it. I realized that no other brand shows or talks about their electronics only comments on what it can do. Their photos are always to the side of their power unit which leads me to think they are hiding something or they don’t have a clue on what they are selling. My daughter and I own several rentals, we purchased 3 of these units last year. The voltage output is 1.9 - 1.7 - 2.1 on all tanks. I flush the tanks every September and the water is clean and clear. The led is still green on all three tanks therefore we purchased more. Very pleased with this product.
